Monday, September 24th, 2012

We have talked the way of using jujube pits to help diabetes patients’ recovery in daytime, it is easy to do and effective for your health.

Now I will introduce another way to do before you sleep, it is also easy and helpful for your health, it is Deep Breath.

How to do deep breath?

After you go to bed, please lie down calmly and try to forget everything and focus attention to your breath, and then inhale the air, the slower the better, till you can not inhale more air, then stop and hold breath, till you can not hold, and then exhale the air, the slower the better, till you can not exhale more air, this is one time deep breath. To do nexth deep breath as the way above, till you sleep unconsciously.

How deep breath works for diabetes?
Deep breath can make lung system and kidney system works together much more better: Lung system offers water-property substance for kidney system to nourish kidney yin, while most diabetes patients in earlier and middle stage is in yin deficiency status.

Deep breath can increase pressure in chest, so blood can into extremities much more easier to nourish, so deep breath can improve limb numbness and blurred vision etc. which are caused by bad microcirculation.

Deep breath can reduce nerve excitement, so it can do great help for sleep.

Deep breath also  can improve digestion functions.

So deep breath not only does good for diabetes, but for everyone, including the health, the sub-health and patients, to practise Deep Breath every day before you sleep, is a good habit of excercise, it will help you gain health back.

What is Jujube?

Sunday, September 16th, 2012
jujube, jujube tree, chinese date tree

Jujube Tree

Jujube, also called a Chinese date, is a hardy fruit with a history going back approximately 4,000 years. In the United States jujube grows mainly in southwestern states, although according to California Rare Fruit Growers, a jujube tree can withstand unlimited summer temperatures and winter temperatures of minus 28 degrees Fahrenheit. Jujube is sweet fruit that tastes best when dried, although you can eat it fresh or use it as a cooking or baking ingredient. Depending on how you choose to use it, jujube can provide both nutritional and medicinal benefits.

Nutrition
Jujube fruit is a good source of vitamin C, a vitamin you must get from dietary sources because your body cannot manufacture it. According to Nutrition Data, a single, 1 oz. serving of raw jujube provides 32 percent of the recommended daily allowance for vitamin C based on a 2,000 calorie per day diet. This vitamin is important for cell growth and repair, collagen formation and wound healing. In addition, vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps protect cells from damage.

Insomnia Treatment
Jujube contains the saponins jujubosides A and B, both of which natural medicine consider as having a sedative effect on your body. The results of a 2009 animal study completed at the Peking University, School of Basic Medical Science and published in June 2010 in the “Journal of Ethnopharmacology” provide some evidence for this theory. Study results state that administering 9 mg of jujubosides once per day for three days produced a significant increase in total sleep time as well as in the quality of rapid eye movement, or REM, deep sleep in the rats participating in the study.

Anti-Inflammatory Agent
Oil extracted from the seeds of jujube fruit may be beneficial in reducing skin inflammation, according to an animal study completed at Daegu University’s Department of Biotechnology in the Republic of Korea. This study, published in 2010 in “Food and Chemical Toxocology” states that using both a one percent and 10 percent essential oil suspension resulted in a significant decrease in skin inflammation as well as a 51 and 53 percent decrease in fluid produced by the inflammatory response.

Tumor Cell Reduction
Research is continuing to determine how effective jujube is in preventing tumor cell formation/reduction. A 2008 study completed at the Vaccine and Serum Research Institute in Mashhad, Iran and published in the February 2008 edition of “Cytotechnology Journal” showed that jujube extract appears to have tumor inhibiting capabilities, especially in T cells affected by leukemia. More research is necessary, however, to discover the components causing this effect and understand how they work.

Other uses

The jujube’s sweet smell is said to make teenagers fall in love, and as a result, in the Himalaya and Karakoram regions, men take a stem of sweet-smelling jujube flowers with them or put it on their hats to attract women.

In the traditional Chinese wedding ceremony, jujube and walnut were often placed in the newlyweds’ bedroom as a sign of fertility.

In Bhutan, the leaves are used as a potpourri to help keep the houses of the inhabitants smelling fresh and clean. It is also said to keep bugs and other insects out of the house and free of infestation.

In Japan, the natsume has given its name to a style of tea caddy used in the Japanese tea ceremony.

In Korea, the wood is used to make the body of the taepyeongso, a double-reed wind instrument.

In Vietnam, the jujube fruit is eaten freshly picked from the tree as a snack. It is also dried and used in desserts, such as sâm bổ lượng, a cold beverage that includes the dried jujube, longan, fresh seaweed, barley, and lotus seeds.

What is Good Emotions

Tuesday, September 11th, 2012

I have mentioned this point: Mind is power source of in “Diabetes Causes in Traditional Chinese Medicine”. Keeping calm, peaceful, and happy mind will do good to health, on the contrary, it will do bad to health.

Mind produces emotions, such as:  Joy, Anger, Thinking, Sadness, Fear.  Excessive emotions hurt the body, such as excessive joy hurts heart system (palpitation, insomnia, if serious, people will become mad etc.), excessive anger hurts liver system(hepatalgia, swelling belly, inappetence, bitter mouth, upset,  moan and groan etc.), excessive thinking hurts digestion system(inappetence, indigestion, stomach swelling etc.), excesive sadness hurts lung system(cough, shortness of breath, asthma etc.), excessive fear hurts kidney system(Erectile Sysfunction, night emission, tinnitus, deaf, dizziness etc.).

At the begining of excessive emotions influence to body, you feel uncomfortable, but when you go to hospital to check, doctor will say you have no problem, that is because the problems are in functional conditions, not in organic lesions, and the machine can only find organic lesions. Functional disorders means you are still in earlier stage, but western machines can not find the problem, only the problem is into late stage: Organic Lesions, the machine can find. So it is western medicine makes so many late stage diseases, so many uncurable diseases.

To kill the problem in its earlier stage, it is only depends on you yourself, not depends on western medicine, because western hospital can not find it when the problem in earlier stage. Once you feel uncomfortable, check if you have bad habits, and then change your bad habits, the problems will be fixed by your body itself.

Good emotions means no excessive emotions above, keeping calm, peaceful, happy and wide-broad mind can make you have good emotions.

Difference between Chemical Therapy and TCM Therapy

Sunday, September 9th, 2012

Dr Wang believes that the treatment in  present clinical application, prescribing the same medicine for the only  purpose of reducing blood sugar but ignoring to ask the age, gender, etiology  and symptoms among patients is wrong, it will cause that the disease seems to  be treated, but some potential illness comes later, then people becomes weaker  and finally Multiple System Organ Failure. Only according to the difference of  patients’ age, gender, etiology to take diagnosis and treatment based on an  overall analysis of the illness and the patient’s condition (BianZhengShiZhi),  different formulas different patients, different formulas different time,  eliminating the source of disease, developing physical fitness, restoring  functions of viscera, and then can cure diabetes completely. Surely according to present conditions, we  can’t do like the way above for every diabetes patient, but we designed great formula  for most diabetes patients, it is GlucoNature, most diabetes patients will get  great benefit from GlucoNature. Correct Diagnosis of Diabetes

Sunday, September 9th, 2012

Dr Wang indicates that it is not comprehensive for western medicine only takes the increase of blood sugar and  urine sugar as the basis of diabetes, instead, the ability of stomach to  absorb and transport sugar, the ability of liver and gall bladder compound and  convert sugar, and the ability of heart, lungs and kidney adjust and utilize  sugar, those three kinds of abilities are normal or not should be regarded as  the basis of diabetes diagnosis. If the three functions are good, we can’t  say people get diabetes even though the blood sugar and urine sugar level are higher than normal. Otherwise, if those three kinds of functions in bad conditions, it might also be confirmed as diabetes though the blood  sugar and urine sugar level are normal.

Diabetes patients take chemicals, the blood sugar and urine sugar level are normal, but they are still in diabetes status, finally they die of complications of diabetes from lack of glucose by chemicals side effects. Western  Medicine only sees high blood sugar is harmful for body, but not  sees normal blood sugar level of diabetes patients means they are in  shortage of glucose absolutely, hypoglycemia is more terrible than hyperglycemia.

Insulin Side Effects

Sunday, September 9th, 2012

The human body needs glucose for carrying out its various functions and activities. Glucose is a natural sugar that is produced from the breaking down of the food that we eat. The cells use the glucose in the blood to obtain energy. The glucose level in the blood is maintained by a hormone called Insulin, produced by the pancreas. Imbalance in insulin levels can lead to diabetes mellitus. Insulin is therefore used to treat some forms of diabetes mellitus.

Diabetic patients require insulin injections to keep their blood sugar level under control. As with other medications, insulin can also cause side effects. These side effects can vary from minor ones such as skin rashes to major conditions such as shortness of breath, swelling of the face etc. Some of the side effects of insulin are listed as follows.

Rashes or redness in the injection site – If the rashes spread to other areas, medical help has to be taken.

Hypoglycemia – This is the condition where the glucose level falls below the normal range. Its symptoms include sweating, dizziness, seizures, increase in pulse rate, and unconsciousness. Hypoglycemia can result in an insufficient glucose supply to the brain which may lead to coma, brain damage or even death.

Hyperglycemia – This condition occurs when there is an increase in the blood glucose level. Possible symptoms of hyperglycemia are increased thirst and hunger, blurred vision, frequent urination etc. If left untreated this condition can cause serious health issues and so immediate medical consultation is necessary.

Severe allergic reactions such as swelling of face, lips, and tongue, hives, breathing difficulty, irritation, rashes etc.

Weight gain – Insulin increases the amount of glucose in our blood and the excess glucose get stored in the form of fat and this leads to considerable weight gain. This often causes heart problems and also affects the blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

Insulin resistance – Prolonged usage of insulin can lead to insulin resistance

Coughing, wheezing and other respiratory infections.

Dizziness

Blurred vision

Increased hunger and thirst

Numbness or tingling sensation around the mouth

Seizures

Anxiety and nervousness

Fatigue

Headache

Rapid heartbeat

Tremor

Confusion

Personality change

Nausea and vomiting

Fever

Sweating

Difficulty in speaking

Weakness

Fainting

Abdominal pain

Many of these side effects can be prevented to a great extent by proper communication with the doctor. These side effects can vary from person to person. Some people may experience them while some may not. If any of the symptoms mentioned above appear during the use of insulin, it is very crucial to seek medical help. Your doctor should be informed of any medications, nutritional supplements, vitamins, and herbal products that you are currently using or plan to use. Pregnant women or breast feeding mothers must seek medical advice before taking insulin. Last but not the least, following a proper diet and regular exercise are extremely important factors.

Diabetes Chemicals Side Effects

Sunday, September 9th, 2012

Science Statistics for Diabetes Chemicals Side Effects

Potential side effects of common diabetes drugs
Sulfonylureas: low blood sugar, upset stomach, skin rash or itching, weight gain
Biguanides/Metformin: sickness with alcohol, kidney complications, upset stomach, tiredness or dizziness, metal taste
Alpha-glucosidase inhibitors: gas, bloating and diarrhoea
Thiazolidinediones: weight gain, risk of liver disease, anaemia risk, swelling of legs or ankles
Meglitinides: weight gain, low blood sugar

Both Type 1 and Type II diabetes generally can be treated and controlled with medications. For Type I, the necessary medication is insulin since the body produces little or none of this needed substance. For Type II diabetes, a variety of medications are available, usually accompanied by changes in diet. As with all medications, drugs to control diabetes have some side effects:
Nausea and Vomiting
When a medication disagrees with the gastrointestinal system, nausea and vomiting may result. For some medications, this will decrease and disappear with continued use of the drug. Diabetes medications that can cause this include metformin, marketed as Glucophage, Glumetza, Fortamet and Rioment. Insulin, glyburide (Diabeta, Glycron, Micronase, Glynase Pres-Tab), sitagliptin (Januvia), rosiglitazone (Avandia), glipizide (Glucotrol, Glucotrol XL), repaglinide (Prandin) and pioglitazone (Actos) all may cause nausea and vomiting.
Appetite
Metformin also can cause a loss of appetite. Insulin, on the other hand, may cause an increase in hunger. Other diabetes medications that may cause an increase in appetite include glyburide, sitagliptin, rosiglitazone, pioglitazone, repaglinide and glipizide.
Anxiety
Glipizide can produce anxiety in some diabetes patients, and this should be addressed with a doctor as soon as possible. Repaglinide also may cause anxious feelings as part of another side effect, low blood sugar. Rosiglitazone, sitagliptin and glyburide also may cause anxiety as a side effect.
Convulsions
Glyburide may cause the serious side effect of convulsions or seizures. These aren’t common, but should be brought to a physician’s attention as soon as possible. Insulin, glipizide and repaglinide also may cause seizures.
Depression
While not common, depression may be a side effect of some diabetes medications, too. Glipizide, rosiglitazone, sitagliptin, glyburide and insulin all may produce mental depression as a side effect of their use to treat diabetes.
Unconsciousness
A serious side effect of repaglinide is to render the patient unconscious. This requires immediate medical attention. This also may be a side effect of pioglitazone and sitagliptin.
Coma
Another very serious potential side effect is for the diabetes medication to send you into a coma. Insulin may cause this, although rarely. Other medications that have the potential for causing a coma include glyburide, rosiglitazone and glipizide.

Dr Wang holds that complications and death of diabetes are caused by control therapy. Diet control breaks energy source coming in; Sulfonylureas, such as Glibenclamide, Glipizide, Gliclazide, D860, Glibornuride and Gliquidone can reduce blood glucose level temporarily, but as time passes they will make function of heart, lung and liver declines; Biguanides such as metformin, metformin hydrochloride, and diaformin can restrain absorption of Glucose temporarily, it seems that the index are good for the time being, but it will damage spleen and stomach function; Insulin can make heart and kidney to control the blood sugar, but long-term injection of insulin may lead to the failure of heart and kidney.
